Journal Register CEO ponders name change
The Journal Register Co. - parent company of The Record and the Oneida Daily Dispatch - considers a name change.
Paton has to know the name "Journal Register Company" is soiled in the industry beyond repair. All the work he is doing will never be complete until the company name is changed. I know scores of talented people in the business who would NEVER work for a company named "JRC" and would be laughed at if they even entertained it... as if the company has changed. Journal Register Company = Jelenic. Not a good thing.
